Section 4(k) of Legal Service Authorities Act, 1987 mandates the National Legal Services Authority to develop, in consultation with the Bar Council of India, programmes for clinical legal education and promote guidance and supervice the establishment and working legal services clinics in universities , law colleges and other institutions.
